Unwanted House Guests

FAIRFAX, Va. (September 25, 2013) – The days are getting colder and while people are seeking warmth indoors, so are pests. Rats and mice are likely to try and find shelter in homes for the winter, and if you see one, chances are he’s been there for a while. According to experts at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, mice will live in the walls of a house for a long time before they venture into living spaces.

The best way to avoid a rodent infestation is to use preventative measures and keep them outdoors. Looking for possible entry points and sealing small holes in your home early in the colder season will help solve the problem before it becomes one.
