As their name suggests, bed bugs are most commonly found in and around beds. However, have you ever wondered why these pests are drawn to the bedroom in particular?
Bed bugs are attracted to the carbon dioxide that we exhale when breathing, as it’s an indication of a potential nearby host. Because we are constantly breathing and producing CO2 for extended periods of time while we sleep, bed bugs tend to congregate in the places where we rest, such as bedrooms.
Watch as the bed bugs activate and become frenzied when CO2 is introduced.
