Shoo Fly!
FAIRFAX, Va. (October 17, 2013) – Fruit flies have been around all summer, but in the cold weather they may now try to find shelter indoors. Attracted by warmth and the fruits that are being brought inside, fruit flies can multiply quickly in a home.
These flies do not pose any risk to people, but they can spoil food that is left unmoved for an extended time. There are many creative ways to trap or kill fruit flies, but it is best to prevent them by regularly taking out trash and managing food left on counters.
