Pests Spring Into Action With Warmer Weather
FAIRFAX, Va. (March 12, 2013) – The warmer weather that comes with the arrival of spring encourages greater pest activity. Therefore, homeowners are likely to begin noticing stinging insects and other common pests in the coming weeks.
In fact, a few states, namely California, have already begun seeing some pesky critters including ants and bees. Specifically, a large colony of Argentine ants was recently spotted in San Jose and thousands of bees swarmed an SUV in Los Angeles, according to KTLA-TV.
To prevent a pest infestation, homeowners are encouraged to pest-proof the home when partaking in “spring cleaning” activities.
