Mosquito Season Starting
FAIRFAX, Va. (April 14, 2014) – All regions of the country are welcoming the warmer weather as well as the pests that come with it. Mosquitoes populations are emerging early in the season despite the unfavorable weather seen in some regions.
These pests not only cause itchy welts but are also known to spread diseases to human such as West Nile virus, Yellow fever, and Eastern Equine encephalitis.
Fortunately mosquitoes can be avoided when outdoors by using insect repellent containing DEET or picaridin.
