Going Batty

FAIRFAX, Va. (May 20, 2014) –  Bats are a natural predator of summer pests, but they can also become household pests.

Attics, sheds or garages could be home to bats or a bat colony if the space has been left unchecked throughout the winter and early spring. This is the time of year where female bats give birth so waiting to remove a suspected infestation could lead to an even bigger one.

Some bats species are protected in certain regions or states, so if you think you have bats in your home, be sure to contact a licensed pest professional to remove them.
