The major enigma for me surrounding these awful pests is how do they manage to show up in my house in numbers ranging from a half dozen up to two dozen, day after day after day? Where are they coming from? Why does one never see a juvenile one, they are always adults? How is it possible that a similar and relatively small number appears every day in the winter instead of all of them showing up at the same time? This is a huge mystery and I would love an explanation.

Empty Jif peanut butter container, two ounces Dawn dish soap, four ounces water. If their on the wall just place the open container right below them and they instinctively drop. Crawling? pick them up, with gloved hand, and drop them into the container. Put the lid on till you need it again.
