Outside of her professional endeavors, Henriksen is an ardent community volunteer having held various leadership positions with her local alumni association, the Junior League of Northern Virginia, Girl Scouts, the American Society of Association Executives and others.

Henriksen graduated from the University of Virginia, earning her bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in government affairs.
